To the entire Guru community:

It's with a heavy heart that I must inform you that this site, Guild Wars Guru, will be shutting down on July 1st and will remain in Archive Mode. Over the past 11 years, we've become, and continued to remain, the #1 fansite for Guild Wars, and it's all because to you guys. Without such a strong and passionate community, Guru would have never made it this far and so we thank you for that.

And while we will be saying good-bye to our home here, we will continue to host forums for the GW community over at our sister site, Guild Wars 2 Guru. In fact, you are more than welcome to head on over now and begin posting. If you have any threads you'd like to transfer over, now would be the time.

So once again thank you, and especially those that contributed their time and knowledge to make Guru the amazing place it was. We'll see you over at Guild Wars 2 Guru!

I know they haven't said this at all, just wanted to get some of your ideas for hybrid professions(which in this case would be professions that you can get after ascension related to your primary and secondary choices) Some of mine: Warrior/Monk=> Paladin Necromancer/Warrior= Shadow Knight Elementalist/Mesmer=>> Sorceror Necromancer/Mesmer=> Warlock Warrior/Elementalist=> Battlemage Ranger/Elementalist => Arcane Archer

HowardJones Krytan Explorer Join Date: Jul 2005	I like the idea of a no weapon martial artist, and someone once metnioned an elchemist. I also thing there should be scrolls that give energy or health regeneration for 30 seconds to make things more interesting in pvp. And how about shields with energy bonus? And a posion trap. And a snare making it impossible to move at all.

One and Two Jungle Guide Join Date: Aug 2005	Items in battle? Like...I have more gold than you so I win!. What would be interesting is zombie condition, for you final fantasy players. They try to heal=damage to themselves =)
